Ideas to Boost Traffic to Your Vacation Rental Listing
Tell the story: Once you have in mind what the perfect experience will be for your guests, name your property, and write your description to tell them the story of what it will be like when they arrive. What will they do? What makes your property stand out?
Show your best side: Hire a professional photographer to showcase the home, and include some photos specifically highlighting those amenities that will attract guests.
Get it out there: Now that you have your description, photos, and you know who your target guest is … it’s time to get booking! The more places guests can find your property, the better. They all have potential!
Check all the boxes: When listing on third-party booking sites, be sure to complete all the questions, there are specific fields that must be filled out for amenities, location, etc. The more information you provide (in the right places) the more guests will feel comfortable knowing what to expect when they arrive, and that equates to more bookings.
Price it right: Pricing is key. You can do an amazing job at marketing your property, but overpricing it will still result in less bookings.
