Meet Odessa M Keilman – Director of Tru Vacation Rentals

I began investing in the industry in 2011 when my partner and I purchased our first vacation home. It was a big step for us at the time but I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. My peers consider me a down to earth businesswoman with a sound contracting background. I strive to provide a no-nonsense approach to real estate by focusing on what the client values most. Vacation rentals are a great way to diversify your investments, save for retirement, and have a lot of fun along the way. Would you rather look at an IRA statement or the picturesque view from the window of your vacation home? I certainly prefer a room with a view!

The Tru Value of a Property Manager

As a vacation homeowner, I understand the work that goes into managing a vacation property. This is why I decided to help others get the most out of their investment. Despite the name, property managers need to do more than just “manage” a home and keep it occupied “most” of the time. You want a property manager that takes care of your vacation home so you can provide a TRU-ly enjoyable setting for you and your guests. The difference between good and great is in the details. In the discretionary vacation rental market, it’s the quality of service that makes the difference, translating into more money and less stress for you.

Self-managing a vacation rental can be done if you want a pretend hobby that ends up consuming all of your free time. Rental guests expect clear and timely communications to help them feel comfortable. If you’re not careful, this can become another full-time job for you. Guests want hotel level hospitality and they rely on you to have a great experience. That’s a lot of pressure.

Looking For An Investment That Feels Like a Vacation?

Vacation homes need to be well maintained and kept up to date with the ever-changing city and state regulations. If you are considering investing in a vacation rental, make sure you know what it takes to stay compliant, keep track of your bookings, and provide five-star service to your guests. Tru Vacation Rentals is here to help with all that and more! If you’re interested in learning more, contact Odessa at Odessa@TruRealty.com or call (602) 909-7710.
